My Name is Peter Jacobs, I am an RBA Certified Master Baker. My passion for baking started in Europe in the 80th, before moving to North America in 1990. When I started to gain my experiences in bread, bun, cake, and pastry production efficiencies.


  • Now with over 40 Years of Baking experience. I am the owner of “The Bakers Workshop” a Bakery specific Consulting Company, providing a full range of services including production optimization, efficiency evaluations, formula adjustments as well as a full service of collecting Data during your baking and freezing process using an oven M.O.L.E


  • The Bakers Workshop has a fully equipped 400 sq.ft Research, Product Development & Training Lab. We aid and assist operations of all sizes, to optimize formulas,roduct development, training programs, production efficiencies, and baking process.


  • We can apply our Data Logger to identify inefficiencies in your bake or freezing profiles. We can help to adjust your ovens or freezers to optimise your efficiencies.

  • Efficiencies: Reduced labor costs by identifying better efficiencies, space, and equipment utilization


  • Baking process: Optimizing oven capabilities to achieve a higher through put utilizing a Data Logger to optimize bake time, bake lose to gain product quality and shelf life.


  • Formula Support: Streamlining formulas, cleanup the ingredient declaration, reduce redundant ingredients, find cost savings, creating a well-balanced formula.


  • Product development: For Larger industrial & artisan bakeries, ranging from freezer to oven, par-baked, laminated, ready to serve, no stress line, cake/batter, ethnic products.


  • Marketing – Training: We created & present product concepts for trade shows and company internal marketing and provided technical training sessions.


  • Production: Assisting in the planning of production layout, advise on the utilization of equipment “new or existing” to optimize production flow & though put.
